1998 - 2008 Delta Line expansion in Europe

In our previous episode we left you in 1998, when our company was still called Deltaomega and consisted of 4 business divisions: Industrial Products Division, Special Products, Motion Control Division and Information Technology Division. It was in that year that our current president, Massimo Malgorani, made the decision to focus entirely on the growing micro-motor sector, seeing this as an important potential growth opportunity. Therefore, in November 1998, he decided to setup a new company which would carry through even to today, Delta Line, and to abandon the other product categories previously offered by Deltaomega. From 1999 onwards, Delta Line, based in Milan initially with only a few employees, became the exclusive distributor of Portescap for Italy.

In the following years, revenue showed a constant growth up to 2002, the year in which Portescap undertook a delocalization policy and offered Delta Line the possibility of becoming the exclusive distributor of its products throughout all of Europe. Conscious of the opportunity and sure of its entrepreneurial skills, Delta Line decided to accept the offer and consequently to expand its workforce by integrating various commercial and technical figures in Germany, France, Great Britain, Scandinavia and Switzerland.
